Although the Intermedia MFA Program was newly initiated in 2009, it had been in development for five years prior to that. In this period (2003-2008) several students have completed their Masters Degrees under this program working in areas of Intermedia / Art / New Media. Our alumni work in diverse fields and pursue a wide range of scholarly and creative interests. Their projects cover a range of medium specific areas including DVD authoring, compositing, graphic design, photography, installation art, performance, video art, sculpture, sound art, printmaking, etc. Their hybrid creative research exists in a variety of intermedial spaces, such as between printmaking and poetry; performance, video, and cultural studies; installation and philosophy; humor and video art; dvd authoring and musical performance; and so on.
